Camilla Martin: Consultant (Project Management)

Camilla Martin joined RedIRay Consulting Limited, six months after the company was formed in 2006.  Since then Camilla has been providing consultancy services to Transport for London (TfL) in project managing a variety of change programmes involving 60 to 200 employees at any one time. In particular Camilla has focussed on delivering ‘people management’  initiatives in accordance with HR policy such as organisational restructure, job mapping, redeployment and recruitment.

Camilla MartinThe change programme of Camilla’s current client, London Buses, is being driven by addressing the ‘softer’ but often more challenging aspects of change such as  removing barriers to change and applying coaching techniques to challenge dated habits and processes. It also refocused the department on simple priorities such as getting the basics right.

Previously Camilla’s work with the ‘Streets’ division of TfL focussed on programme managing seven independent work streams as well as project managing a large scale staff re-structure project simultaneously.

Prior to joining RedIRay Camilla was responsible for introducing a unique parking infrastructure program in preparation for the opening of Wembley National stadium on behalf of the London Borough of Brent(LBB)

Camilla’s work at LBB originated in the office of Immigration, Nationality and Registration on a two year project working in partnership with the Home Office to introduce new roles, procedures and systems nationwide to deliver the new British Citizenship Ceremonies initiative issued by central government.

The former years of Camilla’s career were spent in the international hospitality industry specialising in raising standards within sales and customer services in a range of private sector companies.

In her spare time Camilla is a keen triathlete and an active committee member of the Association of Project Management
