Shaun Reddin: Managing Director

Shaun is RedIRay’s Managing Director and since forming RedIRay with John Rayner in 2006 has been working with a number of clients developing and implementing commercial strategies and functions and in particular providing claims management and facilitation services.  Shaun is responsible for managing RedIRay’s day to day activities as well as overseeing the growth and development of the company.

Shaun ReddinShaun has developed and implemented commercial management functions and teams for clients introducing policies and procedures to improve contract performance and deliver projects to time and budget. Shaun has also operated as a Project Sponsor/Director on major projects for clients from inception through to project completion and has also successfully recovered a couple of projects utilising his trouble shooting and collaboration skills.

Previously Shaun was the Commercial Director with the Mouchel Group’s Strategic Highways division joining them from The Ardmore Group where Shaun managed and developed BCL Rail Services Ltd a Railway specialist plant operator business. Shaun had day to day management responsibility and was instrumental in establishing BCL as a main player in the Railway Infrastructure Services industry. Shaun is a University of Ulster business studies graduate who trained as an accountant after relocating to London in 1987.

Shaun’s early career was spent within the investment banking and finance industry, much of his time during this period was spent developing and implementing risk management strategies in the equities and foreign exchange markets.  This honed Shaun’s understanding and appreciato of risk and importance of appropriate risk ownership and management.

In his spare time Shaun is a keen golfer and rugby fan. His other passion is horse racing and like all racing enthusiasts hopes to one day own a big race winner.
