RedIRay provides commercial, project and business management consultancy services to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure industry.  Our services are focused on improving the effectiveness, efficiency and outcomes of businesses and projects.  By utilising best practice project and risk management tools, coupled with experience and commercial management capability, we can help you create solutions, raise performance and deliver results.

We believe that for project and service procurement, and subsequent delivery, to be truly successful they need to be considered and developed as part of a whole life cycle.  This cycle can be explored under four fundamental headings;

Risk: Is the main factor determining the scope of a project or service.  ie: what needs to be done, how does it need to done and what will it cost.  If risk is not identified early it is very unlikely that certainty of delivery and ultimate affordability will be achieved.  RedIRay has experience, tools and techniques that enable us to identify, assess and quantify risks, and opportunities, at any stage of a project or service life cycle.

Commercial: RedIRay believes that ‘commercial’ understanding is required, not only in provider and contracting organisations, but also in the procuring organisation and throughout the supply chain – the wider delivery team.  This is not achieved purely by employing technically qualified people, but rather by inculcating a sound understanding of key commercial issues in each project team and throughout the wider team.  We help both procurers and providers create the culture required for commercial understanding to thrive, bringing with it certainty of cost and delivery for both parties.

Procurement:  Underpinning our whole life cycle procurement philosophy, is our understanding that client identified requirements, objectives and outcomes set the path of any project, towards success or failure.  We also believe that a clear vision, combined with proactive industry engagement, will avoid ‘scope creep’ and its associated programme delays and cost increases.  We are certain too that procurement needs to influence service delivery outcomes and promote continual improvement and learning.  This understanding drives us to work with public and private sector clients to help establish best practice procurement and delivery solutions.

Project: Delivering procurement aspirations needs strong governance.  Project management aims to deliver this governance achieving predetermined results within predefined time, cost and quality parameters.  It is an efficient and effective way to deliver projects and to manage evolving organisational change.  To achieve these goals, RedIRay uses tools and techniques to ensure that projects and services are defined, planned, monitored, controlled and delivered successfully from the outset.
